The Winchester Drug & Alcohol Reference Group (DARG) is the local forum for all agencies delivering services relevant to substance misuse, as established under recommendations of Act of Parliament.
DARGs are the local organisations in England advising Drug and Alcohol Action Teams (DAATs) and communities in support of the government strategy and co-ordinating work in relation to achieving that strategy.
The Winchester DARG assesses local needs and gaps in service provision and advises the Hampshire DAAT accordingly.
It has Plans for both Adult Treatment and Young People.
It also delivers work through creating partnerships between agencies.

The Winchester Community Safety Partnership
The Hampshire Youth Service
